What a pleasure to watch these bikes, these details, these custom extravagances. As much as some feeds the dream of each biker, so many others call by their excess excessive to the extreme.

The Victory Octane Haute Couture. Here are the models created by dealerships around the world for the "Operation Octane" contest launched in August 2016 by Victory Motorcycles. What emerges is that the Octane lends itself with great pleasure to the wildest customizations with ease and success of style quite disconcerting.
The first 4 photos are the ones that have been awarded. The 5th is the "High Octane" coming from Biker Syndicatein Lausanne. When possible, I put a series of photos of a model if I find the images on the net.
Photo sources : Google ; Instagramm ; Pinterest ; FaceBook, dealers etc. In most cases, impossible to know the authors of the photos

How to find in the same place, several brands of motorcycles, world premieres, accessories of all kinds, customs exhibitions, concessions and preparers, live concerts, shows, booths of all kinds and foods that te travel around the world, thousands of enthusiasts, curious and impatient, some ready to heat the Visa ? In motorcycle shows, festivals, official meetings...When possible, OctaneBiker will go on site and share his days in the grail of the biker.
The 2019 edition of the Swiss Moto, it takes place in Zurich, Switzerland-German, hey nothing is perfect, even in Switzerland. I went on a motorcycle, 360 km round trip, Friday, February 22. On site from 16h to 20h. I was mainly interested in Salon Custom and say hello to my friends from Biker Syndicate, Lausanne, Indian stand and Bündnerbike Maienfeld, creator of the famous Blue Edition. To see it in real life confirms that it is an incredible motorcycle of exception.
At the Indian stand, the attraction are the FTR 1200 and FTR 1200 S, everyone wants to be photographed on it. I understand what drove Indian to design this bike, it potentially affects more people, especially young (- 40 years), and offers Indian a serious acquisition option with a clientele that would not have turned to Indian and his customs. A way to build customer loyalty for its future passage to the most distinctive Indian bikes of the brand.
Very big presence Harley and Harley preparers = big bank account to predict! The brands "classics" Japanese and German present their ranges, the stands are overall nice and well presented, all brands combined. I stopped at Triumph hoping to see the future new version of the Rocket III but that nenni, not there...or very well hidden...which does not detract from the pleasure of watching their other beautiful machines, Triumph c is the Living History of the Motorcycle in Europe (Read the Living History of Triumph).
The best atmosphere, the best mixed and live music, the coolest decorations and the most typical beer beverage stands are of course on the side of the Swiss Custom Show. And there you have many eyes on private customizations sick! Bravo guys, what talent ! On the accessories and clothing side, it's a bit of a shake, I did not find that manufacturers and brands were in a hurry to the door. There are some nice things here and there, but no more...
The word of the end that is raging : There is no need to say, but I had nice looking...despite the beautiful brand bikes or preparers, nothing resembles near or far to the line if camber, the design of Victory Motocycles' V-Twin Freedom 106 engine...and that, it royally put me the balls and ruined my visit to not have a Victory booth to visit, I knew it There would be no Victory booth, but still, it's funny...and say that I'm only a fan of it recently !
So sincerely, friends and friends biker Victoryen, keep warm, pamper, maintain, jealous your beautiful Victory, one day you will have gold in the hands...I am convincedn!
It was my first time at the Swiss Moto...Next year, I will organize a Swiss Bikers/Bikers trip for the Swiss Moto 2020 (20-23.02.20), on the weekend, with some surprises. You have to enjoy shows, live concerts and various performances. More info in due course.
